Privacy Policy

What we collect

Stylists: email, password (stored by our sign-in provider, not readable by us), profile details, phone, address, arrival instructions, booking policies, services, photos, availability, professional categories, and configured external payment usernames, links or registered contact details.

Clients: name, mobile number, optional social handle, optional inspiration photo, the appointment details you request, your terms agreement, and any deposit-sent notification.

Messages you send through Help & Support or the Request Box, your saved theme preference, and your update read and acknowledgment status.

How it's used

Only to run bookings: showing your stylist your request, confirming appointments, and showing status updates. We do not sell data and do not run ads or analytics trackers in the app.

Who can see it

A client's contact details and inspiration photo are visible only to the stylist they booked, through the stylist's signed-in dashboard.

Your appointment page is reachable by anyone who has its private link — keep it to yourself.

A stylist's address and arrival instructions are shown to a client only close to a confirmed appointment (24 hours before with the deposit marked paid, or when the stylist releases it). Public pages never show phone numbers or addresses.

Photos

Inspiration photos and profile/service photos are stored privately and shown through temporary links.

Payment details

External payment details are visible to the stylist in their signed-in profile and on confirmed clients' private appointment links, not public service pages. Anyone with a private appointment link can view its details; keep it private. QuickBook does not store payment card numbers or bank login credentials.

Retention and requests

Data is kept while the account exists. Automatic deletion is not built yet; contact QuickBook through Help & Support to request deletion.
